Dallas, TX, June 18--U.S. Home Systems Inc. which designs and sells home improvement products, on Friday lowered its quarterly profit forecast in part because of higher lumber costs.
The Dallas company said it now expects earnings of 5 cents to 8 cents per share for the second quarter, down from its earlier forecast of 8 cents to 11 cents a share.
