U.S.-China Trade Talks End With No Significant Progress Made

Shanghai, China, July 31, 2019-The U.S. and China talks in Shanghai, China have ended for now with no notable progress made. 

Negotiations will resume in September. 

The two countries trade an estimated $600 billion in goods annually, about half of which has been impacted by tariffs from both sides; China-made flooring is included among the products tariffed by the U.S. 

This week’s talks were the 12thface-to-face negotiations on U.S.-China trade.
