Universal Fibers Wins First Bloom Award
Bristol, VA, March 18, 2009--Universal Fibers has been presented with the first annual Bloom Award for Flooring.
Universal Fibers was the first in the industry to produce post-consumer Nylon 6,6 fiber, called ReFresh Fibers.
“There are more than one billion pounds of used Nylon 6,6 carpet coming up off the floor every year, and Universal has developed the technology to turn that back into a quality usable product,” says Universal Fibers Vice President of Sales and Marketing Bill Goodman.
The Bloom Award is presented by the American Society of Interior Designers in partnership with a magazine. It recognizes achievements of sustainable products in interior commercial design.
