Unilin Takes More Patent Infringement Action at Do
Wielsbeke, Belgium, January 18, 2005 – Unilin announced that on January 16, 2006, the court of Hamburg issued summary injunctions against Yingbin-Nature (Guangdong) Wood Industry, Nanjing Rolland Flooring Product Co., ltd., Huangzu Singular Wood Industry, Shanghai Dekorman Flooring and Shanghai Goleaders Wooden Products. According to Unilin, the cases against Yingbin-Nature, Nanjing Rolland, Shanghai Dekorman and Shanghai Goleaders are based upon patent infringement regarding the products that these companies showed and offered at the Domotex fair. The company also said bailiff served court orders against Nanjing Rolland and Singular Wood Industry that related to the injunctions for patent infringement during the Domotex 2005 fair. The bailiff had to call the assistance of police in order to be able to execute the court orders. Two trucks of laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring were seized by the bailiff. Unilin said that Shanghai Dekorman Flooring and Yingbin-Nature are both part of the ITC case Unilin launched on July 1, 2005, in the US because of the same acts performed during last year’s Surfaces show in Las Vegas.
