Unilin Launches New Courtcases In The U.K.

Wielsbeke, Belgium, Nov. 26--Yesterday Unilin filed four new lawsuits before the Patent County Court in London. Unilin alleges infringement of its patent EP 1 024 234 by several companies of Kronospan, Kronotex, Kaindl and the Sonae group. The European patent 1 024 234 was already held valid and enforceable in the U.K. by judgement of the 26th of September 2003. In that case, Berry Floor and B&Q were judged to infringe this patent. An appeal is pending.
