Uniboard's Nu-Green Gets FSC Certification

March 25, 2008--Uniboard's Nu-Green particleboard has been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).

The product is manufactured in the company's plant in Sayabec, Quebec. The same certification had been given to raw particle board produced in Uniboard's Val d'Or plant in late 2007.

Operations that have been independently verified for FSC chain of custody certification are eligible to label their products with the FSC logo. From a customer perspective, the FSC label represents a promise that is being made to FSC standards and consumes can feel safe in knowing that their cabinets, furniture or any manufactured wood product is the result of eco-friendly policies.
