Göteborg, Sweden, May 12--Molnlycke Health Care, a manufacturer, marketer of single-use products for surgical interventions and wound care, has named Ulf Mattsson CEO.
Mattsson previously held the position of CEO at Domco, in Toronto, Canada.
Mattsson, 41, has been employed by Molnlycke Health Care since August 2004. The changes were made in conjunction with the company’s annual meeting.
During the meeting Finn Johnsson was elected to the post of chairman and stepped down from the post of CEO. These changes had been announced in r 2004. Gosta Wiking, Chairman since 1998, had informed the owners that he would not stand for re-election
Finn Johnsson, 59, intends to resign as Ccairman when the new owner Apax Partners has finalized the acquisition from Nordic Capital. This is planned to take place before the summer.
