UK's Victoria Carpet Says Profit Up 25 Percent
Kidderminster, England, June 26, 2008--Victoria Carpets said its pre-tax profit was up by more than 25 percent, to $6.9 million.
Victoria Carpets said it has seen improvements across all sectors during the past year and has developed a three-year plan designed to ensure continued growth.
Chairman Alexander Anton said: “The difficulty of the current markets is real and is the backdrop against which we have developed our growth plans.
“We have strong products, unrivalled knowledge and expertise and a passion for customer service that means we are as well placed as any to deliver growing returns to our shareholders.”
The company’s Australian operation performed particularly well, with revenues up 20 per cent to $56.5 million.
