London, England, May 23--Carpet maker Carpetright will appoint Ian Kenyon, Director of Financial Reporting for J Sainsbury, as its new group finance director, according to Sharecast.
Kenyon will join on August 30, 2005 and replaces current financial director Darren Shapland, who is leaving on July 29, 2005.
Chairman Lord Harris of Peckham said Kenyon will bring with him a strong retail finance background having had a variety of UK and mainland Europe roles in two large retailing groups over the last 11 years.
