Two Underlayments Get NALFA Certification

Washington, DC, June 23, 2010--The North American Laminate Flooring Association said that two laminate underlayment manufacturers have earned the NALFA Certification Seal.

The Silencer from Foam Products Corp. and Torly’s Safe & Sound underlayment brands have successfully passed ANSI product testing, NALFA said.

Underlayments are tested for impact sound, airborne sound transmission, compression deflection, thickness, and moisture vapor transmission.
