Two Mannington Backings Get NSF-140 Certification

Salem, NJ, Jan. 14, 2009— Two of Mannington Commercial’s carpet backing systems have been certified to Sustainable Carpet Assessment Standard NSF 140.

Mannington’s UltraBac RE broadloom carpet backing and Infinity RE modular carpet backing both received a Platinum certification, the standard’s highest rating.

These NSF 140 certifications come just months after all of Mannington Commercial’s inlaid resilient flooring became the first to receive the NSF 332-2007 Draft Standard Gold Certification for Resilient Flooring.

The NSF standards establish performance requirements for public health and the environment, while addressing the critical economic, environmental and social requirements needed to create a more sustainable carpet product.
