Tricycle Expands Senior Management
Chattanooga, TN, April 10, 2007--Tricycle said today that Jim Markley has joined the company's management team. Markley's position, newly created at Tricycle, is Vice President of Sales and Customer Management.
Building upon a thirty-year career in sales and customer experience, Markley comes to Tricycle most recently from SmartWool, where he served as Director of Sales. His leadership at the company extended from sales into marketing, customer experience, product development, operations and information technology. During his ten year tenure, SmartWool grew from a startup to a company with annual sales exceeding $40 million, and was positioned for its sale to outdoor giant Timberland.
Reporting directly to Tricycle's President, Markley will lead sales and customer relations strategy, and is responsible for its overall execution and performance.
"Jim brings invaluable knowledge and ability in customer acquisition and performance," said Tricycle President Jonathan Bragdon. "His position will be a key role in enhancing Tricycle's ability to deliver on sales at every level, increasing our reach in the interiors market, and improving profits for our customers.
Tricycle launched a transformation of the interiors industry in 2002, with design tools and services using digital product simulation to eliminate wasted time, money and natural resources. In the four years since, the company has earned international design and sustainable leadership honors.
Tricycle is committed to bettering economic, environmental and social profitability for manufacturers in the commercial and hospitality sectors of the interiors industry.
