Torlys Names U. S. Management Team
Toronto, ON, Canada, February 6, 2007--Peter Barretto, CEO of Torlys, today announced the final appointments to an already strong team preparing the company for their launch into the United States.Effective immediately, Charlie Lammers is Torlys general manager--USA. Prior to his work with Torlys, Charlie was the first vice president of marketing for Quick-Step USA, and later served as V.P. national accounts for Quick-Step. Most recently, Lammers held the position of manager of business development for M.P. Global Products and SnapStone.
In a collaborative sales management structure, E. C. “Bill” Dearing has been hired as manager of national market development--USA. Dearing comes to Torlys after serving for many years in positions of increasing responsibility with Pergo, and most recently as Manager, Specialty Market Sales. Dearing was Pergo's first employee in the United States and was the driving force in opening the U.S. and Canadian markets, later introducing Pergo into Latin America. Additionally, Dearing also serves as the president of the North American Laminate Flooring Association.
Dennis Egan also joins the Torlys USA team, as manager of business development--USA. Egan has extensive sales management experience across the U.S.--with years of successful program building in the retail, distributor and new construction channels. Egan was the first U.S. regional manager for Quick-Step, and most recently served as western vice president of sales for the Beaulieu International Group, Berry Floor Division.
Lammers, Dearing, and Egan will work in concert with Andre Tesolin, vice-president of business development for Torlys. Tesolin will work closely with Torlys president Peter Barretto in developing the U.S. market, continuing to create the kind of successful, industry-leading programs that define Torlys as a flooring innovator worldwide.
