TORLYS Flooring Supplier for New HGTV Show

Mississauga, Ontario, December 22--TORLYS has signed an agreement with Big Coat Productions of Toronto to be the preferred flooring supplier for "My Parents’ House," a new make over program being produced for HGTV Canada. "We are very excited about becoming involved with this new program," said John Kocemba, Vice-President of Marketing, TORLYS. "There are many make over shows on television, but we believe My Parents’ House is a fresh approach. The concept is different from other programs. As well, the show hosts and designers are young, hip and full of new ideas about how floors that just click together can be used to create visually appealing spaces." The focus of My Parents’ House is room makeovers for empty-nester parents done with professional design help by adult children who have moved away. "The idea is that the adult kids come home to redo a room in their parent’s house as a gift to mom and dad," explains Fogarty. The program is hosted by two up-and-coming designers, Emmanuel Belliveau and Andrika Lawren. Currently in production, the 13-part series of My Parents’ House begins airing on HGTV in April 2005.
