TORLYS Announces Winner of 'Easy Living Floor

Mississauga, Ontario, December 21--Wendy Olson of Stonewall, Man., near Winnipeg, is the lucky winner of a STEPS Elegance floor in the TORLYS "Easy Living Flooring Contest" that ran from September 16 to November 30 on torlys.com and in Canadian Home and Country magazine. "I want to extend congratulations from the entire TORLYS team to Wendy," says John Kocemba, Vice-President, Marketing, TORLYS. "The response to the Easy Living Flooring Contest was very exciting. We had thousands of entries from across Canada. I think this reflects how popular STEPS Elegance is with consumers. It’s a premium laminate floor that has all the visual appeal of hardwood, but is designed for easy living and to last a lifetime in a home." Olson is a Senior Financial Advisor with the Garden City Branch of the Assiniboine Credit Union. Her name was drawn from more than 5,800 eligible contest entries. "I'm surprised. I wasn't expecting to win," says Olson. "I love laminate flooring, especially the way it looks." She plans to make over her living room with STEPS Elegance, which features three plank lengths, bevelled edges, an ultra-authentic wood look and the integrity of the Uniclic joint. Elegance comes in four species (Oak, Beech, Maple, Cherry) and 11 wood motifs. As the contest winner, Olson will receive STEPS Elegance premium laminate flooring for 200 square feet of space plus accessories and professional installation by Imperial Surfaces Floor Fashions Inc., a TORLYS Dealer in Winnipeg. The prize package has an approximate retail value of $2000. "We gave our Dealers an opportunity to participate in this contest because we are committed to supporting their businesses," adds Kocemba. "The response from our Dealers was very strong and positive. I would like to thank all the TORLYS Dealers who participated."
