Horsham, PA, August 4—-Luxury homebuilder Toll Brothers, on Thursday said the value of new contracts in the fiscal third quarter rose 19 percent, as demand remained strong.
For the quarter ended July 31, 2005, the number of contracts rose to 2,746 from 2,329 a year ago. Higher home prices pushed up the value of the contracts to $1.92 billion from $1.61 billion a year ago.
