Tile Contractors Targeting A & D at Annual Event
Jackson, MS, Aug. 5, 2008--The National Tile Contractors Association will offer continuing education credits for the architect and design community at its 2008 Total Solutions Business and Technical Conference.
The conference will be held at Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center on the Potomac River on Sept. 18-20.
More than 400 contractors, distributors, dealers and manufacturers from across the country already attend the event. The NTCA is now expanding its focus to invite members of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the National Association of Remodeling Industry (NARI), the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) for inclusion in the event.
The A&D Breakout session will begin Thursday, Sept. 18 with Scott Fleming of Oceanside Glasstile discussing Large Format Glass Tile,
“One of our main missions as an association is to help the architectural, design and building industries gain a better understanding of the uses and benefits of tile and stone,” said Bart Bettiga, executive director of the NTCA.
“By educating these professionals about our trade, we play a key role in improving the quality of the design and specification of our products, resulting in successful and long-lasting installations."
