The Rug Market Opens New Headquarters

Atlanta, GA, July 11, 2011 -- The Rug Market America kicked off its 26th year in business with a brand new address and expanded footage to showcase its lines of indoor and outdoor rugs.

Headquartered in the Culver City area of Los Angeles, The Rug Market America's new corporate headquarters has opened to the trade and was recently the site for an anniversary celebration and showroom opening event.    
 
"The offices are trendy, fashionable and architecturally pleasing," said Mike Shabtai, owner of The Rug Market America.

"We now have ample room for showcasing our full product line to the trade and a sample gallery that will be a valuable tool for use by sales representatives and buyers alike."
 
In 1985 Shabtai, owner and founder of The Rug Market America, started the company out of a traditional Oriental rug store that he previously owned in partnership with his brothers. Today, the company continues to be a family affair as Shabtai's sons, Aaron and Andrew, are both involved in the company in vice president positions.
