The 25th Cersaie Sets Attendance Records

Bologna, Italy, October 9, 2007-- Cersaie, the International exhibition of ceramic tiles and bathroom furnishings held from October 2-6 in Bologna, celebrated its silver anniversary with records for total visitors, foreign visitors and Italian and foreign journalists.

The show drew a total attendance of 91,935 visitors (+1.1%), including more international visitors.

The stands of the 1,078 companies from 32 different countries were visited by a total of 27,121 professional attendees (+3.7%), a further increase over last year’s record figure. The numbers of Italian professionals totaled 59,345, an increase of 0.4%.

A total of 632 accredited journalists took part compared to 604 in 2006 (+4.63%), including higher numbers of both Italians (360, +7.8%) and non-Italians (272, or 43% of the total).
