Dalton, GA, February 10, 2006--Textile Rubber & Chemical Co. announces plans to build its first manufacturing facility in China.
The plant will be on 65 acres in the Donghai Development Zone, located 50 kilometers from the port city of Lianyungang in Jiangsu province.
The site is also strategically linked by road and rail. According to Chip Howalt, company president, the plant will enable Textile Rubber to more efficiently serve its growing customer base in China.
Opening a local manufacturing facility in a strategic location is part of the company's commitment to providing quality products and superior service to its Chinese customers, just as it does in North America and elsewhere.
The new venture, which will be called TRCC Lianyungang, will manufacture latex compounds for the company's Polymer Technology Group, polymers for the Polyurethane Group, emulsions and dispersions for the Tiarco Chemical Division, and recyclable carpet backing compounds for the ThermoTex Division.
