Textile Cleaning Standard Open for Comment

Vancouver, WA, March 3, 2014 -- The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification said it is revising the IICRC S100-2011 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Cleaning of Textile Floor Coverings.

The revised draft is available now for public review and comment.

IICRC S100 describes the procedures, methods and systems to be followed when performing professional commercial and residential carpet and rug maintenance and cleaning.

The standard does not specifically address restoration or remediation of contaminated textile floor coverings.

The draft is available through April 14 for review and comment.
