Texas Flooring Chain Files Bankruptcy

Frisco, TX, Oct. 6, 2008--Frisco-based Coker Floor Co. Inc. has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

The 62-year-old company listed assets between $1,000,001 and $10 million and debts between $100,001 and $500,000 on documents filed Sept. 19.

Coker has five retail stores in the Dallas area, selling flooring, shutters and blinds, and countertops out of shops in Dallas, Frisco, Lewisville, McKinney and Plano.
