Texas Commercial Flooring Company Expanding
Austin, TX, Sept. 23, 2008--One of the region’s largest commercial flooring companies is about to get bigger, according to a story in the Austin Business Journal.
Ten-year old Commercial Flooring Systems anticipates it will end the year with $8.4 million in revenue, up from $5.8 last year — a 45 percent jump.
The company, founded in 1999, plans to add 20 employees to its workforce of 54 and has filled two new executive roles. Edwina Samson, who was a senior estimator at Constructor & Associates, has been tapped as vice president of operations while Glenn Biles, formerly a project manager for Delta Granite and Marble, will be tile and stone divisional manager.
The company provides and installs commercial carpet, wood flooring, resilient flooring, ceramic tile and stone. It provides services to general contractors, architects, real estate companies and facility managers.
