Testing Firm's White Paper Looks at 'Green'

Atlanta, GA, Nov. 12, 2010 -- Air Quality Sciences has issued a white paper that attempts to define "green."

The company said that with most marketing and advertising jargon, the term “green” can be defined in many ways and the definition is often tweaked to support a particular message or point of view.

In recent years, “green” has even made its way into the scientific lexicon (e.g., “green chemistry”). However, there is no single, universal definition of the term.

The white paper examines what constitutes a green product, how the term “green” has been used and misused, and how green products can affect indoor environmental quality and human health.

In addition, the company said, the paper looks at federal and state government “green chemistry” initiatives, regulations, guidelines and how they are advancing product technology.
