Toronto, ON, February, 25--First Canadian American Holding Corporation announced that its joint venture partner has developed unique decorative floor tile to enhance its low cost earth construction methods used around the world.
"Terra blocks have been in use for over 25 years and recently we wanted to expand to the lucrative floor and decorative tile market," says Michael A. Gross of Terra Block, Inc. "As most people know, shipping floor tiles is extremely expensive due to the weight and breakage factor," said Gross. "We are extremely pleased that we will be able to offer these tiles to our developments as well as our joint venture partner and dealers in the near future."
"We intend to use these inexpensive floor tiles in our housing projects in Central America," said Sandy Winick of First Canadian American Holding Corporation. "We expect that these tiles will contribute approximately a 30% cost savings over standard floor tiles that traditionally have to be shipped to a job site as these tiles are made right on the job site using common soil."
