Teragren Raising Bamboo Prices

Bainbrdge Island, WA, Sept. 11, 2008 – Bamboo specialist Teragren said it is raising prices for its flooring products by approximately 8.5  percent effective Oct. 1.

“Due to changes in the relationship of the U.S. dollar to the Chinese yuan, increasing transportation, raw material and operating costs, Teragren must raise pricing for our bamboo flooring products,” said Teragren CEO and President David Knight.

Teragren was founded in 1994 and the increase is only the second in the company’s history and the first for its Synergy Strand Bamboo Flooring product lines.
