Teragren Opens New Bamboo Plant in China

Bainbridge Island, WA, Nov. 19, 2008—Teragren , a leading manufacturer of bamboo flooring, panels and veneer, said it has opened a new manufacturing facility in China.

The new plant will use the company’s new proprietary, Xcora  Strand Bamboo Technology to create Teragren’s Synergy flooring and strand panel products.

Located in Longyou, in the Zhejiang Province of China, Teragren’s new 240,000 square foot strand bamboo manufacturing facility employs approximately 120 people.
