Teragren Founders Leave Management Roles

Bainbridge Island, WA, July 8, 2011 -- Bamboo firm Teragren said that company founders David Knight and Ann Knight are moving into consulting support roles in order to pursue other opportunities.

David Knight was formerly chief executive officer and chief financial officer, while Ann Knight was formerly executive vice president and global brand director.

David Knight will continue to serve on Teragren’s Board of Directors.
 
“We’ve had a great ride at Teragren and are confident that the company’s environmental mission will continue to thrive for many years to come,” said David Knight.
 
Teragren President Mike Boshart will assume a greater leadership role at the company.
 
Under the Knights’ leadership, revenues grew at a rate of 40% annually for many years and Teragren garnered widespread industry recognition, including placement on Inc. Magazine’s list of “The Green 50” companies.
