Tennant Opens Coatings Technical Center

Minneapolis, MN, Dec. 15, 2009--Tennant Company has opened its new Coatings Technical Center.

The 10,000-square foot facility allows Tennant Company to focus more aggressively on its coatings business, which offers one of the industry’s widest ranges of floor coatings products.

“We are excited to have a facility dedicated to the development and testing of new and existing Tennant coatings as well as to contractor and sales representative training,” said Mickey Gubman, Coatings Group director with Tennant Company.

According to Gubman, a full 7,000-square feet of the center is dedicated to product testing on a variety of substrates, including concrete, VCT and terrazzo. In addition, the facility includes a dust-free sample production room, a technologically advanced conference room, and office space.

The center is located just two miles from Tennant Company’s headquarters.
