Tennant Cleaning System Earns European Award
Minneapolis, MN, April 13, 2009--Tennant Company has developed a new process called ec-H2O that uses electricity to change plain tap water to a cleaner without any added chemicals.
The process earned Tennant the 2009 European Business Award (EBA) for Business Innovation of the Year.
Tennant was selected from among 10 finalists for the award, including Honeywell and eight other prominent European Fortune 100 firms.
Over 7,000 applications were received for the EBA. This is the second International award given to Tennant for ec-H2O within the past year. In 2008, R&D Magazine recognized ec-H2O as a Top 100 Innovation.
Tennant said that the ec-H2O electrically converted water cleans with the same or better results as traditional cleaning detergents.
