TCNA Handbook Committee Meeting Slated for June 4 in Dallas
Clemson, SC, March 20, 2026-The Tile Council of North America (TCNA) announces that the 2027 TCNA Handbook Committee Meeting will be held June 4 at the Hyatt Regency in Dallas, Texas.
This year’s meeting will be held in conjunction with the June ASTM Committee Week, offering Handbook Committee participants expanded opportunities for collaboration and engagement.
The Handbook Committee Meeting brings together key industry stakeholders to review and consider potential updates to the TCNA Handbook for Ceramic, Glass, and Stone Tile Installation, now in its 64th consecutive year of publication. Widely regarded as an essential industry resource, the handbook provides guidelines used throughout the U.S. in specifying, selling, and installing tile and related installation materials.
The upcoming meeting will include discussion and review of several proposed updates, including:
- Step-down shower assemblies
- Tile in elevator cabs
- Retroactive movement joint installation
- Additional topics submitted by attendees
ASTM committee meetings on ceramic tile, cement, masonry, slip resistance and other related areas will be held throughout the week of June 1, giving Handbook Committee participants the opportunity to also engage in a broader range of technical discussions and standards development activities if so inclined.
