Tate Sells Baltimore Plant/Headquarters Facility

Baltimore, MD, December 18, 2024-Tate Access Floors sold its Baltimore, Maryland plant and headquarters to Gaulin Properties. 

The company will stay in the facility for a short-term sale-leaseback and vacate the space once that time is up.

The company announced in August that it plans to build a new facility in Pocahontas, Arkansas, where it expects to employ 148. The new manufacturing facility will fabricate steel frames for data centers.

The 420,000-square-foot facility is expected to be operational in first half of 2025.

Tate is a subsidiary of the Kingspan Group, headquartered in Ireland. The Kingspan Group is a building and manufacturing company with a portfolio of more than 150 manufacturing facilities.
