Tarkett Upgrades CortinaStone

Houston, TX, July 25, 2007--Today Tarkett Commercial announced the launch of the new and improved CortinaStone, a commercial resilient tile. A popular product for many years, CortinaStone has been reconstructed to offer increased resilience which features a new visual of natural quarried stone.

“Our popular CortinaStone has been updated and upgraded,” said Diane Martel, vice president marketing of Tarkett Commercial in North America. “We are very pleased with the visual. There is a renewed natural essence to the line that eliminates manmade symmetry with each piece of tile being unique.”

Available in the traditional 12” x 12” tile size, CortinaStone consists of 12 color options with an upgraded construction as a vinyl enhanced tile. This improvement enhances the tile’s life cycle cost with reduced maintenance, including the decreased use of floor finish and stripper. CortinaStone is designed to be not only functional but aesthetically pleasing. The line has been recolored to enhance the natural quarried stone look.

After receiving several positive reviews from architects and designers who previewed CortinaStone during NeoCon 2007, Tarkett Commercial is ready to launch the commercial tile in July.
