Tarkett Takes Stake in Serbian Flooring Maker

Backa Palanka, Serbia, May 15, 2009--Tarkett plans to take over a 35.7 percent stake in Sintelon, a Serbian floor coverings maker.

The takeover bid and the price will be revealed after the approval of Serbian Securities Commission.

Tarkett currently does not hold any of the Sintelon shares, but Tarkett France, the company’s co-owner, holds 64.3 percent stake in Sintelon.
