Tarkett Says Products Beat European VOC Standards

Nanterre, France, Jan. 14, 2011 -- Tarkett said that all its floor coverings sold in Europe have VOC emissions 10 times lower than current European standards.

Tarkett said advanced Research and Development has led to innovative product formulations and optimized manufacturing processes.

In addition, Tarkett said it has developed tags providing comprehensive information about the content of its products and how they contribute to sustainability.

The company said it is in a partnership with the the University of Michigan to further understand the positive impacts of low-emitting products on human health in indoor environments.
