Tarkett Residential Increases Resilient Prices

Whitehall, PA, Jun. 10--Tarkett Residential has announced plans to institute a four to six percent price increase on select resilient products effective July 1, 2004. This change is a result of the growing costs of raw materials and energy affecting production of its resilient product lines. According to Jan Lembregts, president, Tarkett Residential, “In recent months we have absorbed cost increases because our efficiencies within the entire manufacturing and supply chains have enabled us to offset them. However, we can no longer shoulder them alone and must adjust our pricing accordingly. “However, we do not expect these modifications to impact the excitement we see in the market for all of our products, especially our new Infinity line,” Lembregts continues. “Both the trade and consumers have validated the benefits that a thick resilient product with high-fashion designs and unmatched durability deliver.”
