Tarkett Residential Expands Laminates with Madagas
Whitehall, PA, July 27, 2006–Tarkett announced it will be launching Madagascar, a brand new collection in the Originals universe.
The new Originals line collection provides a more tropical and exotic twist in wood designs, featuring special embossing techniques and surface textures, each with their own distinctive personalities.

The Madagascar Collection combines in-registered embossing with light scraping techniques for an exclusive, highly-textural, visual impression. Inspired by lush coastal areas, it is available in Linen-Wood, Leather-Wood, Jute-Wood, Woven-Wood, Rawhide and Tanbark. The collection offers the look and feel of hardwood flooring with distressed designs for enhanced depth. Its planks are also micro-beveled on all four sides.
Durable and attractive, Madagascar offers a moisture warranty and a 25-year warranty on wear, fade and stains. This collection will definitively meet the demand for unique, original flooring that is comfortable, stylish and easy to install.
