Tarkett Names Video Contest Winners

Chagrin Falls, OH, Jan. 14, 2014 -- Tarkett has named the winners of its national video contest, “Looking Back, Stepping Forward.”

Will Leonard, an animator with Green Grass Studios in Dallas, Texas was awarded first place and $1,000 for his video, “Church of Christ the Light.”

The competition challenged participants to reflect on buildings and interior spaces that inspire them and address, in a two-minute video, the impact the building or space has had on their creativity and given the chance, how they might renovate or refresh it for the future.

Bridget Adams, NCIDQ Interior Designer at David Sommers and Associates, Kent Ohio, “J. Paul Getty Museum,” took second place.

Richard Duryea, a freelance filmmaker from Burbank, California, took third place with “Overlook Hotel.”
