Tarkett Names New Director of Styling and Design

Farnham, Quebec, June 29--Tarkett named Lise LeBreton director of styling and design for Tarkett Residential. The appointment signifies the company’s growing commitment to style and design providing consumer-preferred offerings throughout all of its product lines, merchandising systems, as well as marketing materials and the Internet. In her new role, LeBreton will head up the design department and be responsible for product conception, design, and styling as well as other marketing support and customer relation functions related to the design of products and the styling of marketing collateral. She also will work closely with the R&D department to develop new techniques and methods for applying color and texture to flooring. "Tarkett has a worldwide commitment to meeting the expectations of today’s discerning homeowners with products that provide the best in style and design," said Jan Lembregts, president, Tarkett Residential North America. "With the appointment of Lise LeBreton we are extending that commitment into North America and focusing on consumer research and innovative merchandising techniques that will provide our customers with options to fit their lifestyles and tastes. The knowledge of the design and product development industry that Lise brings to Tarkett will help to solidify the company as a leading provider of stylish flooring products for the home." LeBreton was previously director of laminate products, a position she held since 2003 when she first joined the company. She has worked in design and product development in the laminate industry for the past nine years. LeBreton will report directly to Jacques Bourdeau, senior director of product development.
