Tarkett Launches New Consumer Web Site
Whitehall, PA, May 27--Tarkett has unveiled its newly designed consumer Web site, www.tarkettna.com, offering consumers dynamic imaging with detailed information on all products offered from Tarkett including sheet vinyl, FiberFloor, laminate, wood and luxury tile. A key feature of the new site is the ability to select products from each collection and view color and style swatches as well as room scenes, which are helpful in visualizing how a specific product will look in the home. The sheet vinyl section has been reorganized into categories that reflect some of the most popular decorating trends today such as Modern Bungalow, Spa, Country Rustic, Coastal and Timeless Classic which makes searching for design solutions easier. "The new site was designed with consumers in mind. It offers great graphics that show detailed product images, as well as information that educates users on what type of flooring product is right for them," said Mark Brown, director of marketing, Tarkett Residential. "We know more and more homeowners are going online to research products and get design ideas before making purchase decisions. This site provides useful information so consumers can make the best choice for their home." Drop down boxes allow the user to easily navigate the site while Information Centers in each section give details on specific products such as frequently asked questions, installation, and warranty and maintenance information. The Product Guide section highlights the unique features and benefits of each product line. Other consumer-friendly features include a Store Locator feature, which provides a listing of retail locations by product. The new site also gives users the ability to contact the company directly, learn about its history, and search for job opportunities.
