Tarkett Latest to Raise Prices

Whitehall, PA, August 9, 2006–-Tarkett announced today that they will raise prices on select residential sheet vinyl and FiberFloor products. “The costs of our raw materials have risen dramatically and are projected to continue to increase in the upcoming months.” said Mark Brown, marketing director, Tarkett Residential. He also noted that increased costs for energy and transportation are also a cause for the price increase. Tarkett Residential resilient products will increase in price from 3-7%, effective September 1, 2006.
