Tarkett Expanding Customer Service in Russia
Paris, France, Oct. 14, 2010--Tarkett is setting up a new Russian customer service center in the Siberian city of Novosibirsk.
Tarkett said the move will consolidate the company's distribution strategy in the region and enable Tarkett to leverage the region's economic growth.
In addition, Tarkett said the center will soon provide training programs to complement its services, inaugurating a new “Tarkett Academy” with a view to training local floor installation technicians and specialized sales persons for its retail partners.
The logistics center has been created to serve Siberia's main cities (Novosibirsk, Omsk, Novokuznetsk and Kemerovo) as well as the wider Siberian region, an area with a population of close to 10 million.
The company said the move strengthens Tarkett's network of customer service centers across Russia and completes Tarkett's industrial presence in Russia, which includes the world's largest vinyl flooring production plant with an annual production capacity of 115 million square meters, and a modern facility in Mytishchi, which began production of laminate flooring in 2009.
