Houston, TX, August 9--Tarkett Commercial has introduced a new line of flooring created to provide designers and specifiers with a low-maintenance floor suitable for heavy-traffic commercial settings. Introduced in three striking visuals in a total of 29 colorations, Acczent Finishes is ideal for a number of interior motifs. “Our new Acczent line is a unique visual designed to create striking floors where low maintenance and long term performance are equally valued,” explained Gilles de Beaumont, president of Tarkett Commercial in North America. Acczent Finishes boasts a 28-mil wearlayer, making it the heaviest wearlayer and the longest wearing product in the category. The product line features a reinforced polyurethane construction, allowing for ease-of-maintenance. “The polyurethane means that no sealants, wax or polish is required,” said Jeff Katz, national sales manager for Tarkett Specialty products in North America. The new product line debuts in three distinctive designs including Glass, Wood and Steel. Acczent Glass is offered in two unique visuals, “frosted glass” and “stained glass.” Both designs are ideal finished flooring for numerous commercial environments including healthcare, retail, hospitality or corporate applications. Also introduced is Acczent Wood, formerly Tarkett’s Dignity line of flooring, available in 14 colorations ranging from Rosewood and Cherry to Oak and Beech. Acczent Wood’s realistic patterns enhance the décor of any interior while providing the utmost in product performance. Acczent Finishes reinforces Tarkett Commercial’s dedication to creating sustainable flooring by featuring 23-percent recycled content. This recycled content is comprised of post-consumer and post-industrial recycled material.
