Tarkett Commercial Considering Price Increase

Houston, TX, August 30 – As the cost of raw materials continues to rise, Tarkett Commercial is evaluating the need for a price increase on all products. “As we continue to absorb the additional price increases in raw materials such as oil and natural gas, and take on the higher cost of resin and polymers, we are accessing the situation on a daily basis and may be forced to increase our prices to cover escalating costs as early as mid-September,” said Gilles de Beaumont, president of Tarkett Commercial, North America.  “Tarkett remains dedicated to creating efficiencies that help lower supply costs wherever possible and we will continue to emphasize our commitment to developing flooring products that are both innovative and cost-effective,” de Beaumont said.
