Tarkett Commercial Announced Price Increase

Houston, TX, September 20--Tarkett Commercial will initiate a five to seven percent increase on all commercial resilient products effective Monday, October 31, 2005. "Tarkett has been absorbing the rising cost of oil and natural gas as well as raw materials, but the aftermath of this natural disaster (Hurricane Katrina) has elevated these expenses to a level that Tarkett must increase prices on all commercial resilient products to cover the escalating costs," said Gilles de Beaumont, president of Tarkett Commercial, North America. "This price increase will be effective, October 31, 2005." He continues, "With the recent investments in both the Houston, Texas and Florence, Alabama plants, Tarkett will continue to search for manufacturing efficiencies.
