Tandus Plants Win Georgia Safety Awards

Dalton, GA, March 21, 2012 -- Tandus Flooring won a first place Georgia Association of Manufacturers Safety and Performance Award for the company’s tufting facility.

The award recognized manufacturing facilities with 100-299 employees and is one of six awards Tandus Flooring received during the GAM Annual Safety Conference and Awards Luncheon held earlier this month in Atlanta.

Tandus also received five awards for “No Lost Time Accidents” for its Environmental Center, yarn facility, finishing plant, extrusion plant and distribution center.
