Taiga Named Supra Distributor in Canada

Toronto, ON, July 27--Supra Floors Inc., a manufacturer of innovative flooring products, has appointed Taiga Forest Products Ltd. of Burnaby B.C. exclusive distributor in Canada of its Subflor Advance and Subflor Supreme flooring for concrete. Taiga will also distribute Supra products on a non-exclusive basis in the United States. The partners aim for rapid development of new markets for Subflor Advance, currently sold through large home improvement centers and building supply retailers in Canada and the U.S. Subflor Advance comes in 2x2 ft., interlocking panels that combine a water-resistant wood surface with a channeled plastic sub floor, to block the rise of water vapor and keep rooms warm and dry. "Subflor Supreme" is an easy-to-install, one-step flooring solution. It comes in planks 8 ¾” by 4½ ft. and a choice of two colors, Calypso (bleached white) or Aires (warm red). Says Tom Lynch, Sales Manager for Taiga in Canada, “Our companies are very similar in outlook. We particularly like the fact that Supra has environmentally sound products." Subflor Supreme is manufactured using only wood from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council-approved) forests.
