SwissTex America Opens Headquarters in Dalton

Dalton, GA, Sept. 1, 2011 -- SwissTex America has opened its new North American headquarters in Dalton, creating 15 new jobs.

SwissTex America was formed by two European companies that took over a Dalton company known as PrimeTex Technology.

SwissTex produces equipment for yarn extrusion plants in Switzerland, and in France, produces twisting machinery for the global fiber industry.

Its products are used in the carpet industry as well as by makers of flame retardant material and tire cord.

SwissTex America will provide equipment, technology, parts and field service to companies throughout North America.
