Swiffer National Launch Calls Attention to Mohawk

Dalton, GA, August 23--Mohawk’s participation in the national launch of a new Swiffer product promotes the Mohawk brand and makes it easy for consumers to locate nearby retailers who carry Mohawk products. The Swiffer CarpetFlick, a product that makes it easy for consumers to clean up crumbs and other debris from their floors between vacuumings, has just been launched nationwide with a major media campaign. But, more importantly, an ongoing demonstration campaign nationwide in stores such as Wal-Mart and Target allows shoppers to see the new cleaning tool in action. Mohawk carpet, tested by Swiffer, is the carpet of choice for the demonstrations. Each demo carpet features a small plaque with the Mohawk logo and the Mohawk Consumer Toll Free number where consumers can call for information on the nearest retailers featuring Mohawk carpet. At the end of each demonstration, shoppers receive a card with information on the Swiffer CarpetFlick. The reverse of the card provides the shopper with additional information on Mohawk and the toll-free Mohawk consumer number for locating the floorcovering retailers in their area who feature Mohawk flooring. The August through December in-store demonstration program, is estimated to make over 75 million impressions.
