Surfaces To Offer Basic Health Screenings

Las Vegas, NV, Dec. 14, 2011 -- The Flooring Covering Industry Foundation, Hanley Wood Exhibitions and the World Floor Covering Association will sponsor health screenings at Surfaces next year.

The promotion will run for all three days of the show, Jan. 24-26. It will consist of a centrally located themed booth just outside of the Exhibit Hall on level 1 of the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

The booth will be staffed with teams of up to 10 professional nurses offering free confidential check-ups.

Screenings will include total cholesterol, blood sugar analysis, blood pressure and body mass index and results will be available immediately. Health counseling will also be provided.  No medical information regarding any participant will be retained and absolute individual privacy is assured.
